Pages: 69 -76

Abstract

If one is taken from the most striking symptom of poisoning, the cramps which appear to have an independent character, by neither being able to be caused by the impairment of respiration nor by circulation disorders, one can call, except for further, harmalin and harmine as varicose poisons, and in so far as they put death by paralysis of breath, also as respiratory toxins. The investigation has not shown any indications for the reasons for the therapeutic applications mentioned at the outset.
