During a botanical exploration trip in November-December 1922 in the Cordillera of Suma-Paz, Colombia, I heard by the natives of the region about the existence of a plant possessing, to believe, so amazing properties, that I could not believe, my ears. The absorption of a certain dose of the decoction made from the stems of this plant produced dizziness until acute prostration and under the intoxicating influence of the drink, such as pythonesses, the experiment had the ability to make known past, present and future events!
