The consumption of the yagé is the only rite among the current Kofan. It is repeated quite frequently, sometimes even weekly. The consumption of yagé is an attempt to understand reality more accurately. Since there is no clear distinction between sleep and vigil among them, the hypothesis is logical that the perceived forms under the influence of the yagé do not have a separate reality. These are normal forms or forms without specific reference in the world of nature, i.e. clearly cultural forms, with the same degree of reality as others.
