Abstract

Paints, paints, cures, cures, people, is a tour of some of the practices of the curaderismo camentsa, with the use of the drinking of the king of vegetables: the yage. This is the location of the Ethnic Group, in which the Yagé, the method of preparation, the practice of healing itself and the experiences of the Yagé, before, during and after a trip with the magic elixir. The way the text has been built, responds in principle to the ethnograph view, followed by the Curaca’s vision that goes in quotes, as well as some photographs among the texts. It is worth noting that the main narrator Martín Agreda, with whom all the field work was performed, so the quotations are not numbered or commented on foot
