The following articles are mostly derived from the interventions presented at the Monceau Centre's symposium on drugs and contexts on 16 January 2004. On that same day, I had presented an intervention showing the danger of adultering these “new drugs” that are ayahuasca or iboga. When I say "new" I do not refer, of course, to their original traditional use, but to our Western use. I think it is a new drug that I think it is not enough to export a substance: it is diverted from the purpose, object and meaning.
