The objective of this visit was, through the field experience, to assess the possibilities for ethnoarchaeological research and the methodological and practical problems facing such research in the Brazilian context. It is clear that the results would always be partial, given the enormous socio-cultural diversity of the indigenous groups of Brazilian territory.
