In this book, I wanted to draw the main lines on which the cult of ayahuasca is based. In fact, this use is so varied and changing, among the different ethnic of the Amazon, which is impossible to draw a complete picture of it. Despite this, for most people, the core of experience, the lessons received, and visions, are very much alike, regardless of the socio-cultural context of experience. Natives are often depredated of their herbal herbal heritage, because many multinationals have patented ancient indigenous preparations, and they are not making any contribution to the original recipe designers. Ayahuasca also risked being patented, but, fortunately, international legislation has not allowed it. Fortunately, many independent students have thoroughly studied the analogues of ayahuasca, allowing new recipes to be prepared, without falling into illegality. I wonder if it is not a start for a new evolution of conscience, that helps man to find his origins. Ayahuasca can help us defeat fears and solve problems. Shamanism can help us change our thoughts and feelings: only this can save us from self-destruction.
