Interculturality is the future and Takiwasi a good example. In the time in which we live, the Western world has no choice but to move forward by abandoning its archaic ethnocentrism, despicable and warrior. The Maniche myth of higher races and civilizations, founder of the “developed” West, cannot continue with globalisation and discovery of the riches of others without a disaster: uniformity, indifferentiation of flavours. The race intelligence scale is lacking and the West must show humility, accept to learn from other cultural universes, not to destroy them in the name of “progress.” The open, humble and respectful approach to Takiwasi is in this sense truly avant-garde and hopeful sense. The clinical results of the pilot project are surprising: two thirds of the patients who have completed treatment did not relapse. And without limiting itself to addiction treatments, the psychotherapy couple – taking plants is most of the time very effective.
