Around the Egyptian "lotus' complex" terminological and conceptual confusions have taken root, and this follows to revive all inappropriate interpretation of the religious and symbolic rate developed by the Water Iilies, specifically the blue water lily. The present article intends to bring clarifications that may result usefull for the Egyptological research.
