The practice of holding ritual plants in jars at home is observed by Wagner Gonçalves da Silva (1996), in his study on candomblé in Bahia, in which he investigates the routes for obtaining holy plants, and the resulting resignments of the city spaces so that ritual actions can occur in them. Even if daime is different - since less botanical varieties are more difficult to grow and they are demanding a large quantity for tea, it is relevant to note that the living of the border between nature and city, in a symbolic sense, determines also both spaces in the geographical sense.
