The article provides an overview of Ayahuasca tourism in Peru, which has now been a genre of South American Ayahuasca Shamanism and has been changing it for three decades. The most important conclusion of tourist Ayahuasca retreat participants is improved quality of life, introspective insights into one's own person and spirituality-related relevance. Their demands and subjective meanings differ from those of native clients of ayahuasca' Shamans.
