The Culture to Consume Ayahuasca in Mexico.

Abstract

This work aims to present the cultural use of ayahuasca in Mexico from Peru origin. The use of ayahuasca is expanding increasingly in Mexico society. A systematic review of the relevant literaute devoted to the topic of ayahausca was conducted at the WWW as Pubmed, Newspapers, YouTube, etc. and by opersonal commjunication with shaman who, cooks ayahuasca brew with 28 Kg of liana ayahausca and 8 Kg leaves of the shrub chacruna with 100 L of water. He sings icaros at the same time he boils the mix for 12 hours to concentrate the active compounds up to 1 L. The obtained product is a liquid of viscous texture and reddish ocher color. Ayahausca can be used in the psycho-neuro-immunonolgy process to get healthy in a different kind of illness, by epigenetic process conducted by the ability of ayahuasca to activate neural stem cells and therefore stimulate the machinery that allows neurogenesis. Harmine acts on the DYRKIA, already known to promote the division of other types of cells.
