I drew attention to published observations which tend to support, from the pharmacological viewpoint, the chemical and other evidence of the identity of the alkaloids banisterine and harmine. In this paper I report the results of some pharmacoilogical experiments with banisterine obtained from Merk. Here, the same results were obtained with the two compounds. In this paper I wish to record briefly the result of my experiments. Crystallographic methods as well as in other ways, it seems hardly necessary to enter into the pharmacological resemblances in great detail, and the few experiments I wish to record are intended not only to emphasise the identity of pharmncological notions, but also to clear up some disputed points in regard to these actions themselves .
