In the process of enriching our scientific practice, our political discourse and strengthening our relationship with the planet and all beings, the objective of this article is to shed light on some practices and wisdom of indigenous peoples. Understanding that the knowledge of these original peoples, who maintain a relationship of familiarity with all of nature, must be a resource that needs to gain strength and legitimacy. There is a need for a paradigm shift in the modus operandi of Western culture and science, which can, step by step, open up to different ways of understanding and inhabiting the world.
