To gather in a critical memory all that has been written about Yagé, Ayahuasca and Caapi, determine the botanical origin of these plants, describe the pharmacognosis characteristics, and finally question pharmacodynamic data whether or not these plants deserve the attention of therapists, such as the goals we have proposed.
